MARKETING STRATEGIES FOR ZONE A
To keep the momentum going, some activities could be organized to boost participation and also give customers a reason to keep coming back.

FOOTBALL TRIVIA NIGHTS

Good way of bringing football fans together. Groups of 3 or 4 pit their wits against each other using their knowledge of the game. The Trivia Nights can be hosted by personalities like Shebby (ESPN Football Pundit) or the self-styled women commentators. Prizes can be a token free meals or merchandises. This can be used as an effort to build a regular crowd.

FOOSBALL AND VIDEO FOOTBALL LEAGUES
Would also be crowd pullers. These leagues could last as long as a regular football season and lead up to the Grand Finals where the top 12 teams or so vie for the championship. This will induce customer participation and be used as an event to draw new customers to the venue. The Mild Seven Foosball Championship is a good gauge of the popularity of such contest.

TEAM NIGHTS
Could be organized to bring fans of different clubs together. While MU and Liverpool have their own clubs in Malaysia. Futbal Mundial team nights could give fans of other clubs such as Arsenal, Real Madrid or Juventus an avenue to come together to cheer their teams or just get to know each other. This will help create a sense of belonging among customers, and is an initiative to keep football at a feverish pitch all year around.

FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUES
Could be organized to generate pre-season hype or to give customers a chance to experience “managing” a team. “Teams” are brought by customers and they’ll be given the task of handling strategy, training and player selection. The mechanics of this will be worked out to enable minimal logistics and inconvenience.

FOOTBALL STOCK EXCHANGE

In relation to the Fantasy Football Leagues, a Football Stock Exchange (FMSE) can also be organized. This involves buying into teams (1st Board) or players (2nd Board) and should cater to those with passion for both football and business. The mechanics of this will also be worked out to enable minimal logistics and inconvenience.

FOOTBALL AUCTIONS

As mentioned earlier, can be held once a week to sell off limited edition merchandise. Proceed from these auctions can go to a selected charity or towards a fund for training underprivileged children in the game. This could add a community services aspect to Footy Futsal and endears it to the public.
