DEMOGRAPHIC
Selangor is Malaysia's most populous state, largely thanks to the rapid economic growth taking place there, mostly propelled by industry, and the growth of the Kuala Lumpur conurbation (known as the Klang Valley, due to its sprawl within the floodplain of Klang River).

Selangor's population growth is fed by the influx of people from other states notably the northern state of Kedah and the east-coast states of Kelantan and Terengganu. The migrants largely consist of young people, who are attracted by higher wages and a better quality of life in Selangor. There are also sizable population of foreign workers from Indonesia, The Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and China.

In general, Footy Futsal’s prospective clientele is focused in urban and semi-urban areas in and around the Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley. The football transcends race and religion, so it would be fruitless to profile prospects according to these demographics. The market is predominantly male, although there has been a sharp increase in female participation. The average age of the target is between 18 to 35 years old.

PSYCHOGRAPHICS
Generally, the target would be a football enthusiast, whether as spectators or participants. Because they are centred around Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, our target audience has both the spending power and the propensity to spend on entertainment. Education-wise, they would have at least secondary level education. Where employment is concerned, they are more likely professional and white-collar workers, or have a steady job with the government. Most of their income would be spent on investment, transportation, communication and entertainment. Most of the target audience would also own their own transportation.
